We've been together 12 years, married almost 8 and

We've been together 12 years, married almost 8 and while this week has been HARD emotionally it is also one of my favorite weeks with my husband. In a hospital room. Praying for our girl. I don't think our relationship has ever been stronger. And after this week, I've decided finding true love is finding someone you'd want to sit in a hospital room with during the lows 🩷

Our girly girl is one week old 🎀 and officially

Our girly girl is one week old 🎀 and officially 35 weeks which means it's now on her terms for when she comes home (our hospital will not discharge until 35 weeks so we just need her to continue getting strong). This week has probably been one of the most challenging weeks, mentally and physically, I've ever endured but I'm trying to choose joy! Here's a few things I've learned while she's been in the NICU for a week 🩷

Both my babies 🤍 Delivering Hampton 6 weeks early out of no where feels "weird" to say the least and I'm not sure it's hit me yet that she has made her way into the world. While she's cozied up in the NICU I am choosing to be grateful. Grateful for 6 extra weeks with her. Grateful for the evenings with Hutton, even though leaving her is not for the faint of heart. Grateful for the medical staff that is taking great care of her. Grateful that I work for myself and have the flexibility to be up at the hospital with her. Grateful for family stepping in & helping with Hutton. Grateful for the long hours at the hospital with my husband, as I wouldn't want to do this with anyone else. We're only 5 days in and I can already tell you this road is probably the most challenging I've ever endured, but GOD. He is good. He is faithful. And there is so much to be grateful for. Longing for the day that this season is a memory 🩷

This is your reminder that you know your body best. I was in labor and having contractions for 4 solid days before she was born. I KNEW it was coming and low & behold I was right. Birth story to come...💗

3 days post c section & there's no place I'd rathe

3 days post c section & there's no place I'd rather be. No one can prepare you for this road, but choosing to see the silver lining and that we get 6 extra weeks with our girl 🎀 This is just a small chapter of her big story that's soon to unfold 🥰

Excited for you to meet Hampton Brooke Abel 🎀 She decided she wanted to make her debut in the world 6 weeks early. Born 3/15/25 at 1:27am. 4lbs13oz of pure perfection. Currently cuddled up in the NICU, but she is already showing us how resilient & strong she is. God is so good & we are counting our blessings 🩷
