Blouse: Macy’s [c/o]// Jeans: Macy’s [c/o]// Shoes: Steve Madden
February is one of my favorite months. I mean partially because it is my birthday month, but also because it includes all things pink & hearts. What’s not to love?
Don’t get me wrong, I believe Valentine’s is a cheesy holiday, as I think we should show the love to our significant others year round, but it’s still a fun holiday! Austin & I typically keep it pretty low key with a nice dinner at home or a casual date night. This year, I think we will go to our favorite sushi spot followed by dessert. Doesn’t break the bank and it’s still quality time with my favorite guy!
I know a bunch of you said you also keep it pretty simple on VDay, so I wanted to share a casual look that would be perfect for a dinner date or GNO! While doing some online shopping/browsing the other day, I came across this full Free People look from Macy’s.
This lace blouse is a little more revealing than I
typically gravitate towards, but I thought it was perfect for Valentine’s night! Note, I am wearing an XS and just wore my go to sticky boobs underneath it! Now these jeans are a new favorite essential in my closet. They totally follow the mom trend, which I wasn’t sure I would love, but I am obsessed! They are a tad pricy, but seriously so worth it. I sized up to a 26 and they fit baggy, just like they’re supposed to. LOL! Both of these pieces will be on rotate once spring officially arrives, which I am beyond ready for.
In case you are going on a more upscale date, I wanted to round up some dressier options from Macy’s, that will also not break the bank. Hopefully this helps all my fancy ladies out π
What do you and your loved one or girl friends have planned for Valentine’s? I would love to know below! My outfit details are linked below. Have a good Tuesday!
