Morning, lady! How’s your week going? Mine is so stressful, as it is WEDDING WEEK! Between open houses for work & making sure all the final details are complete for the big day, you could say my mind is ready for a break. Aka the beach next week π As I sit here typing this post, I cannot even begin to explain my emotions, because they are literally all over the place. I get teary eyed when a song comes on or if I just start thinking for too long. LOL! I am so excited though & just ready for this weekend to be here & finally get to see everything come to life! This has been such a special season & I am so thankful you have followed along on the journey of this whole process. I cannot wait to start sharing #WeddingWednesday posts after this weekend. You will finally get to learn all the juicy details about our vendors π
Being my last #WeddingWednesday post, I wanted to share some pictures from my bridal shower! It was beyond gorgeous & my aunts did a fabulous job, so I hope you enjoy. I also want to let you know where we registered & give you an inside look at that process!
After getting engaged, Austin & I didn’t really know where we wanted to register, other than the obvious, Bed Bath & Beyond. I searched several websites with feedback on where to register & why. After a lot of research, WeddingWire was the most helpful. They are partnered with multiple retailers & they even have a checklist that helps you build your registry from the ground up.
So you are probably wondering, where did you & Austin register?
Bed Bath & Beyond. We registered here for all our kitchen essentials. From dishes, pots & pans, Kitchen Aid Mixer, silverware… you name it!
Target. We registered here for cute hosting kitchen items. From hammered bowls & trays, to napkin rings & more! Target is great, because their prices are extremely low so it helps your wedding guests out!
Pottery Barn. Austin & I wanted to register somewhere with better quality items! Not to say Target or BB&B does not have good quality! We registered for our towels, bedding & gorgeous party hosting items from here. I have several cheese boards we have received that I am dying to use. They are so stinkin’ cute! Just a heads up, if you register at PB & have to return or exchange something, they will supply you with a gift card, but they send it to you in the mail. I thought this was a little strange when I returned something!
Amazon. I mean what is easier? We did not register for too much on Amazon, but wanted to make sure to include it for all our prime members that would be attending our wedding. Free shipping? Yes please! We made sure to register for some cook books & Austin’s tools here!
If you are bride to be, I hope this helped! I would highly recommend picking out several places with different price points, to help your guests out. And then stick to a “theme” for each store you register out. That way you do not register for multiple sheets or towels π WeddingWire is a great place to start, if you feel like you are in over your head with registering and need a little direction!
Happy #WeddingWednesday & WEEDING WEEK! Have a fabulous day & thank you so much for stopping by!
Thanks to WeddingWire for this collaboration. All opinions are my own.Β
