Hey girl hey! I know it has been a while, but life is insane. Between the holidays coming up for work & our wedding being in 16 days, you could say I may be a tad overwhelmed! Not complaining though, because I just got back from one of the funnest weekends of my life. Keep reading for all the details! π
So my MOH & bridesmaids seriously rock, & spoiled the heck out of me this past weekend. After doing some research on WeddingWire’s forums about bachelorette parties, we decided to go big & do Nashville for my bachelorette party, as this is my second favorite place in the world [Texas being the first, of course]. The WeddingWire forums have seriously been a lifesaver during this season of life. Anything you want to know or any questions you may have, I can almost guarantee you can find them there!
When the Nashville weekend finally arrived, we were all super excited & pumped! We got to the airport bright & early Friday morning, & once we got to Nash the festivities immediately began! We ate lunch at Pinewood Social which was seriously the cutest restaurant! Their frose is amazing [note, you have to go outside to the little truck to order this speciality drink]!
After lunch, we went to 12 South to explore & of course see the I Believe in Nashville sign! We found the most precious pumpkin patch [which we obviously had to take pictures at], the all time famous flower truck [seriously, so cute], did a walk through of the original Draper James store & then took some pictures with the I Believe sign! If I moved to Nashville I would LOVE to live in this area, as it is beyond precious. There were several cute, quaint coffee shops I would love to try out… but we will have to save that for the next trip π
After exploring for a bit, we went & picked up some Nash hats from the Pedal Tavern! Luckily, my friend Maddie knew they had these hats… so it was a very quick stop!
We finally made it to our Airbnb, which was the most precious house & perfect for 8 girls! We got ready for the night ahead on broadway… which was obviously what we were all excited for! We headed to the Acme Feed Store for dinner [the mac n cheese is bomb] & then danced the night away at the Florida Georgia Line bar. For real though, FGL needs to open a bar in Fort Worth… I can almost guarantee we would be their number one customers π
Saturday morning came too soon & we were headed to the Nashville Party Barge. This was seriously SUPER fun & I would highly recommend it to anyone. Make sure to ask for Scott to be your guide, because he was a rockstar! The party barge looks like a boat in the back of a truck & it drives you all around the city. You can bring your own alcohol on [no glass though] & you get to be your own DJ blaring music for the world to hear. You can only standup & dance at red lights, so Scott made sure to hit all the lights he could π We wanted to pay for a couple more hours on the barge, but unfortunately their was a group scheduled after us. That tells you how fun we were having!
We hit Tootsies on Broadway after the barge & listened to some live music [seriously my fave]! We finally decided it was time to head back for a short nap & get ready for the night ahead. We got all dolled up & my MOH put together the cutest backdrop for pictures! It was so fun & made for great memories!
If you are a bride to be & are on the hunt for where to do your bachelorette party, I would highly encourage you to get on WeddingWire’s forums & start doing your research. We went back & forth with keeping the trip more local & going to Austin or San Antonio, but after doing my research I decided this only happens once so let’s go big! The WeddingWire forum has been a lifesaver with all the random questions I think of. It is seriously like Google, but only for wedding related questions! I would also highly recommend going to Nashville if you love country music! We all had an absolute blast & are already planning to make this an annual trip. I will seriously carry these memories with me forever & I am so grateful for my best friends going above & beyond to make this a weekend for the books.
Please let me know if you have any questions about Nashville or a bachelorette party! I am here to help π Thanks so much for stopping by.
Thanks so much to Nashville sponsoring this post. All opinions are my own.Β
