Hey girl hey, happy Monday! I have been so busy this past week traveling for work & playing catch up on my emails, I haven’t even made time to post a blog post. Hey, I am not making excuses though! I know life is busy for all of us. π And can I just add that I am mind blown that it is already August?! Seriously though, where the heck did this summer go? I am getting excited, because that means we are that much closer to our wedding day (96 days to be exact).
With summer coming to an end, you might be in major need of a good tanning product. Yes, you read the title to this post correct, tan in a can π My momma & I have always called tanning products in a can or bottle this, so you could say the name has just stuck! Any who, I am one who all through high school tanned in a tanning bed ( I don’t need the lectures, I know how bad it is for you) because we all wanted to be as tan as possible. And looking back at pictures I am not sure why my mom did not stop me! One, it’s awful for your skin & 2, I looked like an oompa loompa. Thank goodness those days have come & gone! Now, I just like a subtle glow, where my legs are not completely blinding.
With that being said, lately I have been using St. Tropez’s Bronzing Mousse in Classic. I know tanning products like these can sometimes be extremely scary, because you do not want to look splotchy, but honestly I swear by this product! It goes on super evenly with the St. Tropez mit. So much so, after putting it on and letting it sit for 4 hours, I look like I walked straight out of a spray tan. AKA my favorite thing in the world! I also invested in the St. Tropez Bronzing Face Lotion in Classic, because let’s be real- what’s better than your face being tan? I think nothing!
Now, now, now, I know these products are a little on the pricey side, but my thinking is it lasts just as long as a spray tan when you apply it & it’s about the same cost. However, you get MULTIPLE uses out of it, so it’s a win-win in my book! You can find these products at ULTA, Nordstrom or Sephora & I have linked them below in case you want to shop them online.
Hopefully this helps for all you pasty ladies π Thanks for stopping by! Have a great week.
