Hi friend! Happy Valentine’s! I seriously cannot believe the middle of February is already here… seriously where does the time go? I feel like yesterday was Christmas. Life has been so overwhelming & crazy lately, but I will get more into the details regarding that on another day… so stay tuned π Austin & I just plan on chilling & having a low key night tonight, which is a okay with me!
Even though it is Valentine’s, I wanted to share another Transitional Tuesday look with you, because February is all about investing in pieces that are going to be hot for spring. Pieces you can wear now & later make for the best investments! So lets all flash back for a moment to the early 2000’s, AKA when denim skirts were practically the best thing to exist. At least to me they were π I seriously remember owning several different kinds, in all colors of course, which is why I am so stinkin’ excited they are making a comeback. I was in H&M the other day & seriously it looked like denim skirts threw up in the store. Hey, I am not complaining though! With that being said, I knew I had to get my hands on one… so I did! This particular one is under $35 & the fringe detail makes it so trendy & cute. I love that you can dress it up or down, pair with sandals or boots, or even use it as a swimsuit coverup once pool weather arrives. Honestly, the options are endless, so why not add one to your closet? If you purchase this exact skirt, make sure you size up a couple sizes. I am usually a zero in jeans, but HM runs super small, so this skirt is a size six. It is a little big in the waist, but the four was wayyyy too tiny.
I also picked up this little white blouse from there & it happens to be under $20! It also comes in several colors & I have been tempted to purchase another one, because why not? So a super cute outfit for about $50,Β is a score in my book!
I have heard some people say they are against denim skirts, so I would love to know your opinion! Personally, I love them & will continue to wear mine π
All the details are linked below. Have a fabulous Valentine’s with your girlfriends & or special someone!
