Hey girl hey! So you might have noticed that I was a little MIA this past weekend on Instagram & I want to explain why. After constantly being consumed with my phone & social media, I just really needed a break. I wanted to be focused on Austin & I all weekend, without any interruptions. Any let me tell ya, it was so stinkin’ nice! You don’t realize how consumed you are by technology until you take a good little break from it. However, I am back now & couldn’t be happier to share my #ootd with you this week!

Today I wanted to go over a major closet necessity that every girl needs. I invested in my utility vest last year from TJ Maxx & I constantly want to throw it over everything. There is something about the masculine look, with that girly feel! You know what I mean, right? 😉 The color of this vest screams fall & it pairs great with sweaters & any basic tees you may have. I also highly suggest investing in one, because you can wear it year round! Yes you heard me, you can wear it in December & even August! Pair it with a sweater & skinnies or a tank & some denim cutoffs!

I paid around $50 for this vest, which is more than I would typically spend on one item, but so worth it! I have linked several vests that are identical to mine. Who knows, I may purchase another one to add to my wardrobe 😉
