Hey friends! Sorry it has been about a week since I have posted. This week is insane as I get my Texas A&M Aggie ring [whoop!] on Friday. I have been trying to get everything planned for that, which let me tell you has been a lot. Any who, Β I hope you have had a fabulous week so far! I wanted to change things up a little today & go over my favorite beauty products [as of right now]. These are a couple things I have picked up & could not see myself living without. A couple are a tad expensive, but are so worth it! And for the rest, they are all very reasonable. So let me stop rambling & introduce you into these wonderful products!
Oh & you can shop these products right from your screen by clicking on the pink hyperlinked name at the beginning of each paragraph!
Simple Cleansing Water: aka the most refreshing product you could use on your face before putting on makeup. I simple apply with a cotton pad & remove all the excess dirt & oils after washing off my face. This bottle has lasted me about four months, because I use it twice a day [once before makeup & once after I take it off]. You can snag this bottle from any drug store for less than $7 & I highly encourage you to do so.
Neutrogena Hydro Boost: I had heard about this product on the Today Show & they were ranting & raving about how great it is, especially for being a typical everyday brand like Neutrogena. It’s a little more pricey for a drugstore brand, ringing in at $17, but WOW it is the best moisturizer I have ever put on my face. I apply this product after the Simple water & my face feels like a babies butt. Just make sure to wait at least 10 minutes before applying your makeup after, because it needs to soak into your skin. I promise this product will not let you down!
It Cosmetics CC Cream + Illumination: So I had been hearing all the big bloggers go on & on about how wonderful this CC cream is. However, I kept finding myself question what CC cream even meant. After some research, I decided I wanted to invest in this product & give it a chance. I found it is a color corrector & is a great alternative for a light version “base” for your face. This product has a high SPF so I definitely plan on wearing this while in the sun this summer, because ladies we have to remember to protect our skin! So if you are on the lookout for something for everyday use & not so heavy, this product has great coverage & I recommend it. You can find it at ULTA for $38.
Estee Lauder Double Wear & Loreal Magic Illumination: Now for my absolutely favorite makeup every. This double wear Estee Lauder foundation is by far the best. I have been a loyal customer to this product for over a year now. I have tried other formulas & nothing seems to compare. The coverage is perfect & looks flawless in pictures. I typically use this in all of my shoots & when I know it is going to be a long day & I will not have time to touch up my makeup. I also mix in this Loreal Illuminator to give the foundation a glow. I have found this is what works best for me. I wear the N2 in the double wear foundation, but will probably move to a darker shade for summer! This product runs at about $38 [which yes is a little pricey but I would not spend that in college if I did not love it so much] & can be found at any Estee Lauder counter. I purchased this one back in October & am just now getting to the bottom of the bottle. The Loreal illuminator can be found at any drugstore for less than $10. Oh- & I love applying this foundation with a damp beauty blender from ULTA!
Maybelline Lash Sensational: WOW WOW WOW! I love this mascara & have been using it for as long as I can remember. I never spend a lot on mascara because Β I have found that drugstore brands typically work just as good. This one gives your lashes a fan effect & can be found for only $6 at a drugstore!
I hope this post inspired your to take care of your beautiful skin & to try out some new makeup! Comment below with a couple of your beauty favorites, I am always a sucker for trying new makeup π
xoxo
