There’s not a better closet staple then a perfect swing dress. This navy one has been my go-to the past couple weeks & is making a perfect transition into fall. Texas is still 90 plus degrees, so figuring out what to wear when it’s hot, but almost October can sometimes be tricky. I enjoy finding pieces like this one where I can throw layers on top of it, as well as wear sandals for summer or  booties for fall. So really it’s a very interchangeable dress & you all need to invest in it [keep reading to find out where it’s from].

Navy is one of my favorite colors to wear [don’t ask me why, it’s just a feel good color I think]. In these pictures I topped the dress with a pink flannel [that is also lightweight so I don’t die from a heatstroke]. You could also tie the flannel around your waist to not only spice up the dress, but to alter the length of the dresses hemline as well. Whichever suits you 😉

Now for the shoes [aka my favorite part]. Booties go with anything, I don’t care who you are… you can rock a pair of booties. Not only do they accentuate your legs, but they can take a boring look to fab in the matter of seconds [& they’re a comfortable heel]. These booties are from Nordstrom & I have seriously not taken them off of my feet.
