So like any other girl, I am a makeup fanatic. I love trying new products, because you never know what you may be missing out on. I was recently introduced to Beauty Counter from my friend Anna, the owner of the blog The Paper Road. Beauty Counter is a company who provides safe products, getting unnecessary chemicals out of their clients hands. You need to take a look at their story & their mission more in detail, I promise you will be in awe just like I was.

My favorite beauty essential I have tried so far is the five step skin care. Let me tell ya, this stuff is awesome!! I have never had my face feeling so silky smooth. I swear I have not had any breakouts since I started using these products. You start off with a Cream Cleanser, which you use in the morning & night. You can then choose to use the Exfoliating Polish Cream [I recommend only exfoliating your skin once to twice a week]. Depending on if it is morning or night you apply the AM/PM Hydrating Cream. This is my favorite part, because holy cow it makes your skin beyond soft. I go to bed feeling like my face is a babies behind… lol really though. The last item of the skin care set is the Anytime Eye Cream. Before Beauty Counter, I had never used an eye cream, but I have always seen my mom apply this before she puts on her makeup. This cream is the perfect moisture boost & I think it helps with circles under your eyes as well.  I honestly have seen an incredible change in my complexion & the hydration of my skin before I put on my makeup & going to bed. Using these products, you have to be very obedient & make this stuff apart of your daily routine, because that is the only way you will see significant results. Now moving on to makeup [aka my favorite part]. Anna referred me to use the Lip Sheer in Petal. HOLY. COW. Talk about some smooth lips. I am one to hate wearing lip gloss because it tends to make my whole face feel cakey, but this stuff is the bomb. It makes my lips feel so creamy, which I like. The color is also perfect for any day time outfit & would work for any skin tone. I also have been using the Blush in Bloom. It’s a great shade & goes on very nicely, with a hint of shimmer. I highly recommend this product if you are on the hunt for a new blush!

The best part & benefit of this company & their products, in my opinion, is you are not putting harsh chemicals on your face. Everything is natural & is made with ingredients like coconut oil, lavender & green tea. So it’s a win, win! These are products I plan to keep on using & I believe my skin will benefit from them later on in life. No one likes harming their face, so I recommend trying these products out ASAP.
